Top 3 Cars to Drive this Summer

It’s finally warming up and the sun is starting to show its face a little more now we’ve hit May. I can safely say there is nothing I like more on a sunny day than cruising the roads with my sunglasses on, listening to my favourite music. Summer is one of my favourite times of the year, and taking a road trip to the beach (or just anywhere) is one of the best things to do at the weekend! So the next question is, what’s the best car to do it in?
These are the top three to be driving this summer:

Audi TT
With the TT convertible range you can enjoy the sunshine beating down on you and the wind rushing through your hair as you speed along. I know there are lots of convertibles on the market but the Audi TT version is one of the best because not only does it look sexy, the drive is amazing too. The Audi TT hits ten out of ten for its performance, agility and precision – plus it matches this with a high standard of safety and an enormous amount of room. The drive is a memorable and exciting experience.

Bentley Continental
This is one of the fastest cars Bentley has ever made, and it’s quite phenomenal! The refinement, agility, performance and distinctive style all equal one of the most thrilling driving experiences imaginable. What’s more, you really can turn some heads with this baby! I love the convertible range but there is also a hard top range, which might be more practical for the British weather. It’s quite a ‘green’ car, so you don’t have to worry about your carbon footprint so much when you just want to drive for the sake of driving (which you will do, believe me).

BMW 1 Series
This beauty of a car is also a hard top but rolling all the windows down when it’s sunny does the trick (plus you won’t get caught out by those pesky rain showers)! The BMW 1 Series has crisp dynamics, quick steering, good body control, sharp brakes and a rewarding gearshift, all adding to its alert, eager feel. Not only is this car’s performance amazing, it’s great for the family too – the hatchback version is ideal. Out of the three, this is the most practical car for everyday driving. It also retains its value and is quite environmentally friendly. I just wish there was an option for a convertible too so I could enjoy the sun that little bit more!

Too be fair, driving any of these into the summer would be amazing. All we need now is a bit more sun, some new sunnies, tunes and to drive, allowing that smile to creep across your face like a cheshire cat!
