Pop up cards are perfect during special occasion like Mother’s day, Christmas, and Valentine ‘s Day. However, sometimes, we would personally want to personalized the thing to be popped up instead of those generic pictures depicting a particular occasion. Some of us condemns pop-ups as hard and cannot be made by an ordinary non artistically inclined person like us. But, I bed to defer. Practice makes perfect and we could actually create our own pop up cards. It is actually very exciting and fun to create and you may want to let your kids join you for them to learn and enjoy. Here are the easy to follow steps to be able to create unique and exciting pop up cards.
First, you have to fold the one piece of your A4 card lengthwise. Make sure that short ends are together. Fold the same piece of A4 card paper in lengthwise again so that the short ends will come together and then set aside.
In another piece of paper, cut a small rectangular shape paper that measure to 4 to 5 inches. Now, lay the small rectangular shape piece of paper on the table makes sure that the long edge is resting horizontally. Draw your desired design at the center of the A4 card paper and color it. On the other piece of paper, you need to draw the same figure you desire, make space for cutting so make sure that every line and shape is broadly drawn.
Now cut out your desired figure, you have to make sure that the entire image is still intact to all of its parts. Say, if you drawn flowers, make sure that the leaves and stems are still intact. Stick the cut out image to your A4 card sheet.
Fold the small rectangular piece of paper in half and then fold the short edges of the small rectangular back for about half an inch. Glue all the turned edges of the small rectangular into the side of the card with creases are all lined up. Allow it to dry for a couple of minutes.
Now for the finishing touches, you may write your message and accentuate fully the card for sure this card will never go unappreciated. Your special someone or family would surely love you for this one.
